2020 students – congrats to you for getting through this difficult year and sticking with your maths course!
My thoughts on this exam:
Working through this exam, I felt like it was slightly on the more difficult side for Standard 1. Luckily it was not as bad as Standard 2 this year, but a lot of the questions were tricky or complicated in some way, and many required proficiency with solving equations.
I thought the last question was a good one which tied together a couple different financial maths concepts, and I liked the graph related questions, although I’m not sure if students would have enjoyed them!
