Academic Tutoring

One-on-one tutoring is available face-to-face at our tutoring centre in Berkeley Vale, as well as online.

We offer private tuition in most academic subjects, including Mathematics, English, Science, HSIE, and PDHPE for primary school, high school, HSC, TAFE, university students, and adults, as well as other speciality subjects (see our subject list below). Private tutoring is a one-on-one appointment with an experienced tutor who specialises in the subject, and are tailored to suit the needs and abilities of the student.

Our tutors are highly experienced and university-educated. Their goal is to help you not only succeed in your course or studies, but also to be your academic mentor. Your tutor will endeavour to get to know you, your academic strengths and gaps, your needs and goals, and will help you to achieve them. As tutoring sessions are one-on-one, they are tailored to each student’s level and learning pace.

The tutor will also focus on helping the student to improve in areas to be tested on.

NAPLAN, ICAS, RoSA, and Minimum Standards Test Preparation

Although high performance on the NAPLAN or ICAS is not crucial to a student’s success, performing to the best of their abilities can boost their confidence and give them a sense of pride. Having a tutor work with them to prepare can also be beneficial to students who experience anxiety in regards to tests. Some students may need help to prepare for their RoSA or Minimum Standards test in order to achieve their goals after Year 10, and our tutors can provide them with the revision, practice, and support that they need.
